I thought there was only one size depth for the bottom matress. At a later date this was explained to me and a slimmer one was switched the following day. Reggie obviously wants happy customers!

I went to the Mattress Shop two years ago based on customer reviews on Next Door and other sites First and foremost the process of choosing a mattress was made painless by Reggie .His knowledge and process steered me to a great Beautyrest with a platform. I am very pleased with this mattress but after a couple of years an imperfection appeared on the mattress . I called Reggie and he asked for some information regarding the purchase and send some pictures of the mattress .He told me someone would come out and inspect the mattress .Reggie followed up with call telling me the inspection won't be necessary based on the photos .I received my replacement mattress today just two weeks from reporting this incident to Reggie . I strongly recommend the Mattress Shop and Reggie as your go to for any mattress needs .He stands by his products and values his customers !

This is absolutely the only store you should consider when purchasing a new mattress. Don't bother comparing stores. No place will ever come close to providing the guidance and customer serviceI received here.. From the moment I walked in until my bed was adjusted to meet special needs, I was treated with dignity and respect. Reggie didn't let me leave the store until he was absolutely certain I selected the best mattress for me. When it came time for delivery, he very patiently worked with me to find a time that would work for both of us. Delivery was right on time. The young men were well dressed, extremely courteous and knew exactly how to set up the bed. When I started to make the bed, I was struggling. I called the shop, and Reggie gave me a tutorial that allowed me to make the bed. That being done, I discovered my bedding wouldn't fit properly. He offered to come to the house the next morning to determine the problem and find a solution. He did his very best to get here spending over an hour driving around,, but GPS sent him in all the wrong directions! Needless to say, he made every effort but needed to get back to open the store. I brought him pictures, and he knew exactly what had to be done. His delivery men came the very next morning and made the required adjustments. Once again, they were terrific. Everything is now perfect!!

Being new to Beaufort 3 years ago during Covid and having to buy 3 new mattresses and box springs we went into the Mattress store and was greeted by Reggie the proprietor of the shop. He was the most honest knowledgeable person we've ever come across. Forward three years later we contacted him again needing a forth mattress for a new room and asked him for the same mattress we have now he said they weren't making that style but had another one that was compatible to it and we went with that and had it the very next day delivered!! We slept on it lastnight and had the best night sleep. I highly recommend Reggie and his mattress store. So glad I looked at the Sun City Facebook when I needed to buy a mattress for my mom who lives in assisted living. Most everyone told me to see Reggie Dela Cruz at the Mattress Shop in Bluffton. I was driving home from Florida and decided to call him from the car. Reggie picked up the phone and I told him about my dilemma; I needed a lower box spring/mattress to accommodate my mom who was falling out of bed on a regular basis due to her very tall mattress.
Reggie immediately told me that I needed to measure not only the height of her current mattress and box spring, but also her height and legs so she could reach the floor as she sat on the new mattress. I got him the information the next day and met him at his store. He took the information, found the best mattress and box spring for her (even letting me buy the floor model at a great price since he didn’t have one in stock), and had it delivered from his other store to the assisted living residence. It was only 5 hours from the time I came to the showroom to discuss what I needed until the time it was all delivered and set up.
The most amazing part was how much he cared about making sure my mom had a lower box spring and mattress that was her height, so she didn’t fall and hit her head again. He and his delivery men worked amazingly hard to make this happened quickly and I am deeply indebted to them. I know that whenever I need a mattress or box spring, I will most definitely call Reggie at the Mattress Shop because I know that he will go the extra mile to sell me the mattress that I need and get it to me as soon as possible. It has really made all the difference with my elderly mom!

Three years ago, I went shopping for a box spring and mattress. after a few hours, tired and ready to quit, I went into Mattress Shop on Fording Island Road in Bluffton, SC. I was warmly greeted and got immediate service. Reggie, the owner of the family-owned business, ask what I was interested in seeing and if I had any specific needs. He then showed me several beds and invited me to try them, and to take my time. I did. after a while he asked if I had questions. Long story short, I made my purchase. Within 48 hours my delivery, set up and haul away of the old mattress was completed. The delivery was 48 miles away. There were no charges for the delivery, setup and removal of my old bed. I had a recent fall and after being able to walk unassisted, I needed a bed that helped with discomfort. I went back to Mattress Shop. I was greeted like an old friend and after Reggie ask his questions about my needs, I tried several beds. I found two so I left to decide. I returned and purchased the pro Adapt queen, medium. It is already in my home. No extra charges. He even extended his holiday special and saved me a few hundred dollars!! I highly recommend his family-owned shop to anyone looking for great service, sincere desire to give you a great deal, and most importantly fill your need from his Hugh selection of highly rated beds.

April of 2021 I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable frame at the best price in the area. My adjustable wouldn’t raise. Even though it is the Malouf Company’s responsibility to honor the warranty, Reggie sent his tech out to reprogram the units. If Malouf came out it would have cost me to get someone to move the mattress and and take the headboard apart as they would only replace the unit if needed. Reggie coordinated with Tim at Malouf so that he took care of the problem for me at no cost. It was my ignorance that the plug was in the bottom outlet connected to the wall switch. If I need another mattress there is no doubt that I will go to The Mattress Shop. Reggie gives outstanding customer service.

I have been using The Mattress Shop for over 10 years. I work with Reggie and he is top notch! He has furnished 3 homes with beds for me. All have been amazing. His team is always on time and so easy to work with. But Reggie out did himself last month. My Mama is 88 and needed a bed that she could get in and out of. He was amazing. He told me how to measure to get the correct height. He ordered her bed, set it up and she decided she wanted a larger bed. He made the whole process so easy. He never hesitated, he ordered her a new bed and she loves it! He will take great care of you and your family! A family owned and operated business. This is the only place I will buy beds from!!!

In the market to replace my king mattress, I shopped a couple of stores and found that I would have to spend $4300. Then I found Mattress Shop in Bluffton. They were knowledgeable and friendly and did not try to sell me the most expensive. They listened to me and I ended up with a comparable mattress to the $4300 mattress and paid $2300. I recommend you see these people when you need bedding.

We were out of state buyers building a new home in Bluffton SC. Reginald was awesome to work with. He took one order over the phone as I already knew what I wanted and I wanted to be sure it would be in on time for delivery. Then we came into town the week before closing to purchase additional mattresses for the guest rooms. He didn’t try to oversell us. He was honest. Then at the very last minute our Closing was moved to the next day so we were scrambling to have all of our deliveries moved, which he accommodated with ease. I highly recommend this store.

Reggie did an outstanding job of helping to find the right mattress for me, and working with the Serta representative to offer it through his establishment. He was incredibly responsive to my calls/questions. If he did not answer immediately, he got back to me very quickly, which made the whole purchase process move quickly. This shop is the opposite of high pressure sales tactics that one typically encounters in mattress shops. It is clear they are focused on delivering satisfaction for the customer. And a plus -- the delivery staff arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional.

I researched customer ratings and saw that mattress shop had top ratings. We stopped in to take a look at the different types of mattresses. They had a very good selection and Reggie took the time to work with us and explain the differences between all of the brands. We were very happy with how he explained to us all the differences between them. We made our decision and the set was delivered the next day. THE MATTRESS SHOP WAS SUPERIOR! I wanted to share a few thoughts about our experience purchasing a mattress and bed frame. We did the normal process of going to various mattress shops such as Sleep Number, etc. We then went to Mattress Shop and received the information we needed. Reggie, the owner, was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. After trying out his various mattress options (such as Serta and Simmons), we ended up selecting the Tempur-Pedic mattress. Next was the bed frame. As we bought mattress for our new home that was supposed to be finished in September - Reggie was super easy to work with as delay after delay happened with our home. THE BEST PLACE TO GET A MATTRESS. I called 45 mins before closing time because I was desperate to get a mattress that night. I just moved into an apartment and I would've had nothing to sleep on if I didn't get one that day. I was also by myself with a tiny Nissan so I had to get delivery. After all his delivery guys went home and were 30 mins away he made my delivery happen! ON TOP OF AMAZING SERVICE, the mattress was very affordable for a college student and so comfy. Highly recommend.
